Our Hotel

Our hotel is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It is possible to simply turn up at The Howard Hotel & Residence*** on the day and check at the Reception if we have rooms available for that night. However, it's less risky and you will get the best prices if you book in advance.

Our hotel does not offer car parking services.

Children of any age can stay at the hotel as long as they are accompanied by an adult. An adult is considered to be those aged 18 years and above.

Smoking is not permitted in most parts of the hotel. The Howard Hotel & Residence*** has a strict non-smoking policy within all parts of the hotel, except the yard.

Room Types

A Twin Standard Room consists of 2 Single beds and can accommodate 2 guests.

A Single Standard Room consists of 1 Single bed and can accommodate 1 guest.

Cancellations & Amendments

Reservations can be cancelled but we offer a credit note as opposed to a refund. A small cancellation fee applies to reservations cancelled or amended.

Please proceed in making a booking via the normal procedure, by contacting our hotel Reception on (+356) 2749 2832. You can then book your room type and any additional purchases.

For reservations that have been cancelled or amended The Howard Hotel & Residence*** will return your funds as The Howard Hotel & Residence*** credit. We do not refund directly to our customers' bank accounts. Please note credit is valid for a 6 month period and can be used at The Howard.

To extend your stay you are required to make a new booking.

Food & Beverage

Continental breakfast is available at an extra charge and served at the hotel. A fully equipped communal kitchen is available for all residents. OPEN HOURS: 10:00-22:00

We have bar facilities within our hotel. The Howard also has a fully equipped communal kitchen which is available for all guests. You will find many bars and restaurants in the surrounding areas within a 5 minute walk.

Payments, Prices & Credit

The Howard credit is valid for 6 months.

Yes. All the details taken as part of your booking are used for payment purposes and never stored anywhere.

The price is for the room and not per person.

Other

No pets allowed at the hotel. However, Guide dogs are welcomed free of charge.

To allow us handling your complaint better please always include your name and last name, contact email, stay dates and reservation number when possible. We aim to get back to our customers within 24 and 48 hours after receiving the complaint.

Our hotel website contain information to reach us from the Malta International Airport. Please check on our website.

We ask you to register your details with us in order for us to manage your booking/s as well as enabling us to get in touch with you with regards to your booking.

Our Rooms

Unfortunately rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis and it is not possible to request rooms next to each other or on a particular floor.

Yes these are included in your room purchase.

Rooms are cleaned prior to arrival and is free of charge.

Yes - All our rooms come with private en-suite facilities.

We are happy for our customers to have guests in the hotel but they need to be accompanied by the customer at all times for security purposes.

Check-In/Out

Customers are able to check-in at any time after 2PM up until 11AM the next morning which is the check-out time. Please note our hotel is staffed 24 hours a day.

Please contact us using our Contact page to inform them of your plans. Your reservation may be cancelled after 11AM if the hotel is not informed. We will do our very best to contact you before we cancel your reservation.

Customers are able to check-in any time after 2PM up until 11AM the next morning which is the check-out time. Our hotel is staffed 24 hours a day.

Your Booking

Group bookings can be made in the same way as individual bookings on The Howard Hotel & Residence*** website.

If you have not received a confirmation number or a confirmation email then it is likely that your booking has not been processed. Please send an email on info@thehowardmalta.com to check if your reservation has in fact been made.

Yes - You can send an email to info@thehowardmalta.com and quote confirmation number or confirmation email. We will then check if the booking is confirmed.

Baggage

Yes - we have luggage storage available at the hotel at an additional cost. You will need to book at the hotel Reception.

  • €5.00 per day (+ €2.50 per additional suitcase per day)
  • €25.00 per week (+ €12.50 per additional suitcase per week)
